Algemene Voorwaarden bij deelname aan online cursussen en cursussen in het atelier

Materiaal

Bij de beschrijving van elke opleiding staat vermeld welk materiaal is inbegrepen en welk materiaal je zelf dient mee te brengen. Het materiaal dat je zelf dient mee te brengen kan niet aangekocht worden in het atelier.

Betalingsvoorwaarden

Het cursusgeld dient volledig betaald te zijn bij de start van de opleiding, tenzij anders vermeld. Bij niet-tijdige betaling behouden wij ons het recht voor om de inschrijving te annuleren.

Annulering door Deelnemer

Indien je bent ingeschreven voor een opleiding, maar toch niet kunt deelnemen, kun je de opleiding annuleren tot twee weken voor de startdatum. Er wordt dan 10% van het cursusgeld ingehouden voor administratiekosten; het resterende bedrag wordt teruggestort.

Indien je je kort voor de start van de opleiding wilt afmelden, wordt het cursusgeld alleen terugbetaald als iemand anders je plaats inneemt. Informeer gerust of er personen op de wachtlijst staan.

Wijzigingen en Annuleringen door de Aanbieder

Wij behouden ons het recht voor om de cursus te annuleren of de data te wijzigen bij onvoldoende inschrijvingen (minimum 6 deelnemers bij een cursus met 10 plaatsen, min 4 deelnemers bij een cursus met 6 plaatsen) of andere onvoorziene omstandigheden. In geval van annulering wordt het volledige cursusgeld terugbetaald. In geval van datum wijziging wordt in overleg met de deelnemer een nieuwe datum vastgesteld of kan de deelnemer kiezen voor terugbetaling.

Inhaallessen

Er worden geen inhaallessen gegeven. Als je van tevoren weet dat je een dag niet kunt komen, vraag dan na of dit een probleem vormt voor het volgen van de cursus.

Auteursrecht

Alle inhoud van onze cursussen, inclusief teksten, presentaties en ander lesmateriaal, is auteursrechtelijk beschermd. Het is niet toegestaan om deze materialen te kopiëren, verspreiden of op enige andere wijze te gebruiken zonder voorafgaande schriftelijke toestemming van de auteur of rechthebbende.

Toegang tot de online cursussen 

Inloggegevens voor online cursussen zijn persoonlijk en mogen niet met anderen worden gedeeld. Deelnemers die hun inlog informatie delen, zullen worden uitgesloten van verdere deelname aan de cursus. Daarnaast zullen er juridische stappen worden ondernomen om ongeautoriseerde toegang of misbruik van de cursusmaterialen te vervolgen.

Aansprakelijkheid

Lotte De Mey is niet aansprakelijk voor enige directe of indirecte schade die voortvloeit uit deelname aan de cursus, tenzij er sprake is van opzet of grove nalatigheid van onze kant.

Privacy en Gegevensbescherming

Wij hechten veel waarde aan de privacy van onze deelnemers. Persoonlijke gegevens worden zorgvuldig verwerkt en beveiligd, in overeenstemming met de toepasselijke privacywetgeving. Gegevens worden niet gedeeld met derden zonder toestemming van de deelnemer.

Geschillen

Op deze algemene voorwaarden is het Belgisch recht van toepassing. Bij geschillen die voortvloeien uit of verband houden met deze algemene voorwaarden, zijn uitsluitend de rechtbanken van het gerechtelijk arrondissement Antwerpen bevoegd.

Terms and Conditions when participating in our courses

Material

Each course description specifies which materials are included and which materials you need to bring yourself. You cannot purchase the materials you need to bring yourself in the studio.

Payment Terms

The course fee must be paid in full at the time of registration unless otherwise specified. Failure to make timely payment may result in cancellation of the registration.

Cancellation by Participant

If you are registered for a course but are unable to attend, you may cancel the course up to two weeks before the start date. A 10% administration fee will be deducted from the course fee; the remaining amount will be refunded.

If you wish to cancel shortly before the start of the course, the course fee will only be refunded if another participant takes your place. Please inquire if there are individuals on the waiting list.

Changes and Cancellations by the Provider

We reserve the right to cancel the course or change the dates in case of insufficient registrations (a minimum of 6 participants for a course with 10 spots, or a minimum of 4 participants for a course with 6 spots) or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation, the full course fee will be refunded. If the date is changed, a new date will be set in consultation with the participant, or the participant may choose to receive a refund.

Make-up Classes

No make-up classes are offered. If you know in advance that you will miss a day, please check if this will affect your ability to complete the course.

Copyright

All content of our courses, including texts, presentations, and other materials, is protected by copyright. It is not permitted to copy, distribute, or otherwise use these materials without prior written consent from the author or rights holder.

Login Information

Login credentials for online courses are personal and must not be shared with others. Any participant found to be sharing their login information will be excluded from further participation in the course. Additionally, legal action will be taken to address any unauthorized access or misuse of the course materials.

Participation

A course will proceed with a minimum of five participants. In the event of insufficient registrations, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the course. In such cases, the full course fee will be refunded.

Liability

We are not liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from participation in the course, except in cases of intentional wrongdoing or gross negligence on our part.

Privacy and Data Protection

We value the privacy of our participants. Personal data will be processed and secured in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Data will not be shared with third parties without the participant’s consent.

Disputes

These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law. In case of disputes arising from or related to these terms and conditions, the courts of the Antwerp judicial district shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
